Welcome to the ‪‎Litchfield‬ Penitentiary Cafeteria - courtesy of Netflix Asia, to promote the launch of ‪#‎OITNB‬ Season 4 #WelcomeToLitchfield

"First time in the system? Don’t ask for a menu, eat the chef’s special and leave a glowing review. Now get in line at the Litchfield Penitentiary Cafeteria and wait your turn. Before she changes her mind and decides to let you starve.
16 & 17 June only. Walk-ins available."
As a promotion for the launch of Season 4 of "ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK" television series on Netflix, the folks at Netflix Asia has "converted" a local restaurant to look like the prison cafeteria, complete with inmates dressed in prison-orange, in this pop-up event!

The restaurant in question is "OverEasy" (Address @ 541 Orchard Road, #01-01 Liat Towers, Singapore 238881), and the food is FREE. Folks can book their place here online, or you can attempt to "Walk-In" and try your luck. (PROMOTIONS: "Check under the trays. Don't let the guards see you".)

Regardless of the food, I hope the organizers put a "live" chicken running about the gated compound tho! Would've been a "perfect" nod to the first season lol

I personally think it's a pretty "fun" way to promote the show, especially to locals here who might choose "food" over a fictional television show (I loved it, doesn't mean everyone else does :p) … but seems not necessarily everyone felt the same was as I did…
"Author of the memoir Orange Is The New Black: My Year In A Women's Prison Piper Kerman has called a Singaporean prison-themed dining event "repulsive", but diners whom The Straits Times spoke to at the event on June 16 afternoon were unfazed." (www.straitstimes.com)
Don't forget to get your temporary tattoos when you dine at the cafeteria, folks!
