Marvel's Daredevil by Netflix
Fictional Streets in Fictional America sure are nothing but cesspools of crime and murder, if the entertainment media tells us, anyways - from feature films to procedural programs on television, and the latest neighborhood you'd be warned to visit, is "Hell's Kitchen", from Netflix's adaptation of Marvel's DAREDEVIL.
From comicbooks to the silver screen (with Ben Affleck's infamous and unforgettable turn as the blind superhero), now back to the google-box, and from the trailers and teasers seen thus far, the one thing I "liked" about this upcoming series, is the lack of a "superhero suit" on Matt Murdock! With the Affleck's red leather ensemble stick stuck in my mind, it is nigh refreshing to see a non-descript "uniform" … which of course eventually will be replaced, either with the "basketball skin"-styled (ala Spider-hyphen-Man, and/or Snyder's Man of Steel), or leathered up like an X-Men. The horns looked fab in comicbooks, but in "real/reel"-life? I know Batman could do it, but your friendly neighborhood blind lawyer? I dunno, man, I dunno…
(DD's tv-look is inspired by the "Daredevil: Man Without Fear" comicbook)
Aaaaah I'm being whiney for the sake of being whiney, admittedly. Hey, if "Wilson Fisk" AKA "The Kingpin" can wear black instead white (please NO PIMP CANE), it will all work out for me :)
