The CW’s “Crisis on Earth-X”: Sizzle Reel & Stills

And while I had only just raved about Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and “declaring” it is “the best” comicbook-themed show on television how, I HAVE to give major props to The CW for their slate of superhero-tv, AND my OTHER Fav watch: “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”, as I feel they too have been doing a swell job at depicting comicbook-fiction as the way I have enjoyed my comicbooks in the past: Seriously Having Fun!

It’s all “fiction” folks! So lighten-up, and enjoy a little!

And while we had ourselves an Alien Invasion in last-years crossovers, this year however, the threat comes from an alternate dimension! Now THAT’s the sorta FUN I’m looking at! AND this comicbook-cover styled promotional image (featuring art by Phil Jimenez) is an uber-perfect fit! (Pic via

WHAT-IS: ”Crisis on Earth-X” is the fourth annual Arrowverse crossover event, featuring episodes of the live-action television series Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow on The CW. The crossover will begin on November 27, 2017 with Supergirl and Arrow, and conclude on November 28 with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. "Crisis on Earth-X" sees Barry Allen and Iris West's friends come to Central City for their wedding, only to be interrupted when villains from Earth-X disrupt the proceedings.

Development for a crossover between the four series began in December 2016 after the release of the previous crossover, "Invasion!". The premise and title of the crossover was revealed in September 2017 as production on the episodes began, with it noted that elements from the animated web series Freedom Fighters: The Ray would be part of the crossover, including the live-action appearance of Ray Terrill / The Ray."

Also featured here are a few select images (of the 98 since released / via SHH) of the crossovers - including a look at the “evidence” Supergirl (LOVE her in Black), Arrow, and a Reverse-Flash! All 98-said images have since been uploaded HERE on the TOYSREVILX Facebook :)

PREMISE: "Barry Allen and Iris West's friends come to Central City for their wedding, only for the event to be disrupted by Nazi invaders from the parallel world Earth-X, including fascist doppelgängers of Barry's allies Oliver Queen and Kara Danvers, who come to Earth-1 with a deadly agenda. In addition, the superheroes from Earth-X, including Citizen Cold (a doppelgänger of Leonard Snart) and The Ray, also arrive to help Barry and his friends to stop them."
