Imaginary Cat #KDrama
Started a new Korean drama last night, started on a random whim, and ended up enjoying it! It also helps that it is a brand new drama and only 2 episodes have aired! The series in question is "IMAGINARY CAT";
PLOT: "Hyun Jong-Hyun (Yoo Seung-Ho) is a webtoon writer and works part-time at a bookstore. He always dreamed of working of as webtoon writer, but he has difficulties due to his stubborn and self-centered personality. He also has a cat named Boggil. He first met his cat on the street during a rainy day. Since then, they have lived together and Hyun Jong-Hyun only opens his mind to Boggil." (asianwiki.com)This TV show is based on the webcomic "Sangsanggoyangi” by Kim Gyung (published from June 2, 2014 to April 6, 2015 via webtoon.daum.net/webtoon/), and as well has the distinction offing the "first" drama series acting role for K-idol Yoo Seung-Ho since his completion of South Korea's compulsory military service. The role of his (ex) girlfriend "Jung Soo-In" is played by Solar from K-Pop girl band Mamamoo.
"Cuteness" comes in the form of being able to "hear" what the cat thinks- and by that is does not mean this is a show about "talking cats" that freaks her owner out LOL
So far it has been cliched fun to hear what the cat thinks, as she reacts to her owners action. The voice for the cat is by Han Ye-Ri.
There's also a lot of cat man-handling in #ImaginaryCat, which no doubt cat lovers might enjoy heehee … truthfully, I do not get to enjoy this notion of holding our cat Mao (my sis has the pleasure), so this has been a swell guilty-pleasure / wish-fulfilment for me so far :)
