Teasers for #JessicaJones on Netflix

PLOT: "After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City. It's time the world knew her name..."

I really need to find time to watch the DAREDEVIL series on Netflix, as the upcoming JESSICA JONES series happens in the same locale; "Hell's Kitchen"- with which these all culminate into "THE DEFENDERS", which I can only suspect is a "Heroes for Hire" concept, which includes "Luke Cage" (played by Mike Colter / image below).

Actress Krysten Ritter plays "Jessica Jones" (13 episodes, 2015). So far the two teasers launch showcases Jessica's "strength", but not much beyond. I doubt there will be a "super hero suit", but who knows? I've also added a video from "Comics Explained" that puts into historical context of the comicbook character of "Jessica Jones".

WHAT-IS: "Marvel's Jessica Jones, or simply Jessica Jones, is an upcoming American web television series developed for Netflix by Melissa Rosenberg, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise, and is the second in a series of shows that will lead up to a Defenders crossover miniseries. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios and Tall Girl Productions, with Rosenberg serving as showrunner.

Krysten Ritter stars as Jones, a former superhero who opens her own detective agency after an end to her superhero career. David Tennant, Mike Colter, Rachael Taylor, and Carrie-Anne Moss also star. A version of the series was originally in development by Rosenberg for ABC in 2010, that was eventually passed on. By late 2013, Rosenberg reworked the series, when it reentered development for Netflix as A.K.A. Jessica Jones. Ritter was cast as Jones in December 2014, with production on Jessica Jones beginning in New York City in February 2015 and lasting until late August."
